In this video however she objectifies men.

Katy Perry – California GirlsIn this video without her there would be no narrative which is giving her some importance and identity which goes against what Mulvey says as she says women are denied any identity of sense of being. In this video she is aware of herself being a sexual object and is using it to gain power this goes against what Mulvey says.
